Dirk helps organisations turn strategic intent into working operating models, so that teams, platforms and architecture pull in the same direction and change sticks.
He brings 25+ years of experience from three angles: product, as a Senior Principal Product Manager at Red Hat for OpenShift and Quay; organisation building, as the leader who built the EMEA organisation for Prisma Cloud at Palo Alto Networks; and architecture leadership, as the head of the EMEA Specialist Solutions Architecture organisation at AWS for data, AI, modernisation and enterprise applications.
Dirk is the creator of North Star Architecture, a framework for enterprise architecture transformation, and writes about Intent Architecture at intentarchitecture.org. He is a Team Topologies Advocate, a Platform Engineering Ambassador and a regular conference speaker.
He works in English and German with organisations across the DACH region.
