Georgina Shute, Consultant at Conflux
Rebecca is a leadership and culture consultant, executive coach, and facilitator specialising in adaptive leadership for organisations navigating rapid change.
She joins the Conflux faculty to work on client engagements where the leadership and culture transformation is as important as the technology and process change. She brings the human layer to Conflux's work - the mindsets, behaviours and relationships that determine whether transformation actually takes hold, or stalls at the edge of what leaders are willing to do differently.
Her focus is on shifting leaders from reactive, expert-led approaches to more adaptive, empowering styles that release energy across the organisation. This is particularly relevant in the kinds of complex, matrixed environments Conflux clients typically navigate, where collaboration across boundaries is critical and no single leader can hold all the answers.
Rebecca's early career was at bp, across sales, strategy, project and global transformation roles - giving her a strong grounding in how large organisations operate under real performance pressure. As an independent consultant, she has worked with senior leaders in FTSE 100 and global organisations including across energy, engineering, financial services and technology.
She holds practitioner certifications in the Leadership Circle Profile, Collective Leadership Assessment, Psychological Safety (Amy Edmondson's Fearless Organisation model), Transformational Coaching, and was trained in the LOTUS Facilitator Development Programme with Aberkyn/McKinsey whilst at BP.
Rebecca's core values are courage, connection and joy - which she lives not only through her work, but also through quality time with her partner, son and dog, her passion for scuba diving the world's best dive sites and her love of theatre.
She regularly writes posts and articles on frontier leadership and culture on LinkedIn.
