Harvey Whitford, Consultant at Conflux

Harvey is an experienced technology leader, and Associate Consultant, with nearly 30 years of experience delivering transformation across a wide range of industries.

Throughout his career, he has built, scaled and led Quality and Engineering functions, helping organisations improve performance, accelerate delivery and increase business value.

Harvey brings a distinctive blend of hands-on leadership, consultancy and training experience, enabling him to bridge the gap between organisational, cultural and technology challenges. His expertise lies in transforming technology organisations through the application of Agile and Lean principles, modern quality engineering practices, and Continuous Delivery approaches.

Recent leadership roles include Anaplan, where Harvey led the transformation of a traditional Delivery and Quality function constrained by an annual release cycle into a modern, high-performing technology organisation. By introducing contemporary testing practices, Agile ways of working and Continuous Delivery, he significantly improved delivery speed, quality and operational effectiveness. He also championed the adoption of Team Topologies to drive organisational and process change, helping establish the foundations for sustained high performance.

Following these successful transformations, Harvey led the migration of the Anaplan SaaS platform into multiple public cloud data centres across several continents, supporting the company’s strategic growth and positioning the business for acquisition by private equity.

More recently, Harvey has delivered consultancy engagements with Asda and Carlsberg, focusing on executive stakeholder alignment, large-scale technology adoption and the effective management of third-party delivery partners. His work has helped organisations navigate complex change programmes and realise the full value of major technology investments.

Harvey is passionate about enabling organisations to deliver better outcomes through modern engineering practices, collaborative leadership and continuous improvement.
